Brightwheel keeps families connected to their child’s day with convenient, real-time communication between families and the Rosen JCC Learning Center team.
Through Brightwheel, families can:
- Receive important school announcements and updates
- Communicate directly with their child’s teaching team
- Receive updates about their child’s day
- Manage their child’s profile and information
- View daily sign-in and sign-out activity
Your child will be added to Brightwheel before their start date. Look for an invitation from the Rosen JCC Learning Center at the email address associated with your account and follow the instructions to create your family profile.
For safety and to ensure teachers remain fully engaged with the children, most classroom updates are sent during naptime (1:00–3:00 p.m.). Teachers are focused on instruction, activities, meals, and supervision throughout the rest of the day.
We encourage families to enable Brightwheel notifications so they don’t miss important information or messages. Parents with an account can log in here.
New Learning Center parents will need a code from our team to create a Brightwheel account. Questions about Brightwheel? Our Learning Center administrative team is happy to help.

Drop-Off
The school day begins at 9:00AM. Please do not drop children off earlier unless enrolled in our Early Care program or Full Day program. Early care is available from 7:00AM – 9:00AM.
After 9:30AM, parents/guardians/caregivers should bring the student to the Welcome Center and a staff member will escort the student to class. Please note that curriculum activities begin each morning at 9:15AM.
Pick-Up
The school day ends at 3:00 p.m. unless enrolled in our After Care or Full Day program. After Care is available from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. Parents may pick up their child directly from the classroom at 3:00 p.m. or later. For pick-up before 3:00 p.m., please visit the Welcome Center and a staff member will call for your child until 2:45 p.m.. After 2:45 p.m., parents will need to wait until 3:00 p.m. for classroom pick-up to avoid interrupting dismissal procedures.
Approved Pick-Up
Families must provide a list of persons who have permission to pick up their child. If there is a change in approved pick-up, you must provide written consent via Brightwheel, our secure communication platform. Phone calls will not be sufficient to allow permission for an approved pick-up change. Those who are approved pick-ups should be prepared to show ID if asked by a member of the school team. IDs will be requested if the Learning Center team member has never met the individual picking up, even if on the list.
Full Day Program
The Full Day Program opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes promptly at 6:00 p.m.
Parents and other family members are encouraged to be involved in our program. We offer volunteer opportunities throughout the year to invite you to engage with our many activities and events. Our goal is to have our families as partners.
Open communication between families and our teaching team is essential to your child’s success. We want families to feel informed, heard, and comfortable reaching out with questions or concerns.
Families receive progress reports in the fall and late winter, and Parent/Teacher Conferences are held each February. Conference scheduling information is shared with families in advance.
Parents who would like to meet with their child’s teaching team outside of scheduled conferences, can contact the Learning Center Director at any time to schedule a meeting.
Your family matters to us. If you have a question, concern, or need support with any aspect of your child’s experience, please reach out to our administrative team. We are committed to listening, responding thoughtfully, and working together with families to find solutions.
The Rosen JCC Learning Center staff believe that our school should be a place where all children can have the opportunity to be successful. It is a time for children to learn new and exciting things, to make friends, and to learn to be part of a group while retaining their unique individuality. In believing that every child has his or her own individual needs, it has always been the policy of the Rosen JCC Learning Center to be a school that includes all children.
The Rosen JCC does not discriminate in the enrollment of children or selection of staff or volunteers upon the basis of race, cultural values or beliefs, age, gender, national origin, mental or physical disability, or status as a veteran. We acknowledge a primary responsibility to bring about collaboration between the home and school in ways that enhance the child’s development. We have committed ourselves to recognizing that children are best understood in the context of family, culture, and society, and respect the dignity of each family and its culture, language, customs, and beliefs.
Ready To Take The Next Step In Your Child’s Educational Journey?
Finding the right early childhood center is a big decision for your family, and we’re here to make joining our JCC community as simple and clear as possible.
- We welcome little learners from 2 months through PreK. We offer flexible full-time and part-time schedules designed to fit the rhythm of your household. To ensure every child receives the personal care, warmth, and attention they deserve, we keep our class sizes small and fill openings on a rolling basis.
- Spots can fill up fast. If your preferred age group is currently full, securing a place on our waitlist ensures your family gets priority as soon as an opening opens up.
- Our tuition rates vary. As an independent nonprofit, every dollar of tuition goes directly back into your child’s experience. Tuition rates vary based on your child’s age and schedule, and financial assistance is available to help make quality early education accessible to every family.
